Physics Camp for Young Women
Design Connect Create is an immersive, hands–on experience for female students who will be entering their first physics course in the fall. This camp will help you get ahead and it is an opportunity you do not want to miss!

How does the application process work?
Verify Eligibility
This is a girls-only camp... So if that describes you, you attend the hosting school district, and you will be taking your first physics course in the fall of 2019, then this camp is FOR YOU!
Discuss with your Guardian
Your guardian will have to sign a consent waiver within the application process, so you'll need their support. Also, make sure you'll be able to get daily transportation arranged.
Do you need information on the camp in a language other than English? If so, please contact us and let us know.
Gather Information for Application
You are going to need the following:
> Student contact information
> Student math and science course history
> (Optional) Essay for application to earn a TI graphing calculator: see below for more info.
> Parent/Guardian contact information
> Student Allergies and Medical information
Submit Application
Working with a guardian, click the "Apply Now" button and start the process. You'll be able to save your application and come back to it later, if needed.
After submission, the guardian will then receive an email with a verification link. Once verification is done, your application will be complete.
Mark Your Calendar
Save the date on your calendar and your guardian's! Also, make sure that you look out for emails or texts from us with critical information between now and the summer.
Invite Your Friends to Apply
Camp is better with friends! Encourage your classmates and friends to apply so that we can serve more girls like you!
Wait for Notification
We don't want to leave you hanging! In most cases, you'll be enrolled in just a few days. We just want to make certain that we are prioritizing access to those that meet the eligibility requirements. Be on the look out for the email notification, and a request to complete an online "pre-survey" - a requirement for participation.

Donations and grants from individuals, corporations, and family foundations make it possible for us to offer participation in this camp, a $650 value, at NO-COST to the student.
